Rainy Spring Week in Maine

The rain has been a gift this week.

The air has been on the cool side.

No sun has peeked through the clouds.

But we have needed this moisture.

April was a dry month, but the flowers are still on parade

as we near the end of May.

My daughter is graduating from high school two weeks from tomorrow.

Yikes!!

It's a huge milestone for her.  And for me.

Bittersweet.

Life is bittersweet, especially with children.

So much growth and change.

Like the seasons, I suppose.

Two weeks from tomorrow, that's when this whole graduation thing will hit me.

Until then I will simply absorb the shift.
